About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at Kincare. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay engaged and connected with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, and work collaboratively with our care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Requirements
  • 12 months' experience as a care worker or support worker, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by our elderly customers.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, with a strong commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our customers, their families, and our care team.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve our customers' goals and outcomes.
