CSSD Technician Position

Make a difference in the healthcare industry with our dynamic team of Sterilisation Technicians. We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced CSSD professionals to join us at Calvary North Adelaide.

About the Role

This is a vital role where you will play a key part in ensuring the cleaning, packaging and sterilisation of medical equipment is processed efficiently. Your knowledge and understanding of AS-5369 will be highly valued in this position.

We require individuals who possess strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. A minimum of 1 year experience working within CSSD and a Certificate III or above in Sterilisation Services are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the cleaning, packaging and sterilisation process to ensure it meets the required standards.
  • Complete documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures and industry standards.
  • Maintain compliance by monitoring processes and reporting any non-conformities.
  • Participate in daily testing, monitoring and validation requirements.
  • Reprocess Flexible Scopes according to relevant standards.
What You Bring
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working within CSSD.
  • Knowledge and understanding of AS-5369.
  • Certificate III or above in Sterilisation Services.
  • Strong desire to learn and expand knowledge base, as well as guide and support other staff.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
