As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate capitalization and depreciation of fixed assets, as well as maintaining accurate records and reports.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure accurate capitalization of fixed assets, including reviewing invoices, purchase orders, and requisitions for correct coding.
* Identify, record, value, and account for fixed assets, including capital projects.
* Process monthly depreciation for all fixed assets.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reconciliations and roll-forward reports.
* Collaborate with the business to ensure accurate details regarding capital projects.
* Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting and ability to apply IFRS and US GAAP accounting policies.
* Assist with quarterly/year-end SOX compliance.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
* 5+ years of experience with a multinational and/or BPO/Shared Services Company (preferably in a public company environment subject to SOX) or;
* 5+ years of experience with a Chartered Accounting Firm.
* CPA or CA qualifications.
* Extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel.
* Experience with Oracle Fusion.
* Experience in GL accounting, including preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and assisting with quarterly/yearly audits.
* Highly proactive, organized, with strong communications skills and a strong work ethic.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to self-review.
* Desire to learn and further develop accounting skills.
