Seeking a Dynamic Leader for On Highway Supervisor Role

Penske Transportation Solutions is seeking an experienced On Highway Supervisor to lead a safe, efficient, and productive service operation in Mackay.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic leader with sound business acumen to join our team. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for driving our team to success, providing exceptional service and value to our existing and developing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a safe, efficient, and productive service operation;
  • Supervise, co-ordinate, plan, and control the Mackay service operation;
  • Attract, develop, and retain a highly skilled and dedicated service team;
  • Understand and implement OEM process and procedures;
  • Assist the Service Manager with the development and expansion of the Service Department Business Plan;
  • Monitor customer service trends to make necessary improvements and assist the team in developing appropriate standards and processes;
  • Provide effective communication to the workshop employees via daily toolbox meetings;
  • Plan for the future of the department and implement actions to ensure continued growth and development;
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement ideas and concepts.
About You:
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safe working practices;
  • Have completed appropriate trade and/or management qualifications;
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the heavy engine related business;
  • Advanced knowledge of Penske brands;
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment with strong customer facing responsibilities;
  • Ability to motivate and coach employees to achieve individual department and team goals;
  • A strong understanding and working knowledge of Quality Assurance;
  • Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Values & Behaviours.
