About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Solution Architect to join our team at Aurecon. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will be responsible for guiding LAN technology outcomes and collaborating with project teams, operations teams, and business stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes for our LAN connectivity squad and wider Aurecon business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical governance for various network initiatives within Aurecon, ensuring robust and fit-for-purpose solutions for projects and initiatives.
  • Identify and establish best practice technical standards, practices, and policies to ensure the delivery of high-quality network solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of High-Level Designs (HLD) and Detailed-Level Designs (DLD) for project initiatives, working closely with the Domain Architect - Connectivity to develop the long-term network connectivity strategy for Aurecon.
  • Offer insights from real-world technology deployments to inform domain strategies and roadmaps, and perform build & configuration activities related to project initiatives as defined in project architecture.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on technologies including Cisco WiFi 6 wireless deployment, Cisco ISE, dot1x, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco SD-WAN, and VMWare SD-WAN, and develop and maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation related to technical standards and services across the group.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and transition of project solutions to the IT Operations team.

Requirements
  • A tertiary degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Cisco WiFi 6 wireless deployment, Cisco ISE, dot1x, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco SD-WAN, and VMWare SD-WAN.
  • Experience in a similar Solution Architect role, with a strong understanding of network automation technologies and project management frameworks.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly desirable.
