Job Opportunity

Arup is seeking a highly skilled Wind Energy Leader to join our established Renewable Energy team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading onshore wind projects and providing technical expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead onshore wind projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure Arup's continued leadership in the renewable energy sector.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record of utility-scale wind experience, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Established presence within the renewable energy market, with a network of industry contacts and relationships.
  • Deep expertise in foundation design, with a strong understanding of wind turbine installation and maintenance.
  • Relevant industry experience in power systems, solar PV, hydrogen, battery energy storage, and pumped hydro, with a strong understanding of lenders' technical due diligence and project management.
  • Membership of relevant professional institutions or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
