Job Summary:

The Cybersecurity Specialist will serve as a Subject Matter Expert on security management topics, including antivirus management, encryption, and data leak prevention. This role requires hands-on experience with next-generation antivirus tools and threat intelligence advisory, outbreak management, and essential skills in the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Symantec Endpoint Protection and Microsoft Defender skills with 5-8 years of experience.
  • Monitor antivirus and encryption consoles and perform daily health checks.
  • Update operational documents and maintain a knowledge base for all issues.
  • Respond and resolve security incidents.
  • Roll out reports as per the SLA template and frequency.
  • Perform outbreak management and upgrade antivirus and encryption tool sets.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to share progress on various tasks.

Requirements:

  • NV1 Security Clearance is required.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen.
  • Excellent knowledge of next-generation security solutions, including MS Defender ATP, Carbon Black, and CrowdStrike.
  • Strong knowledge of error analysis of Microsoft operating systems, including Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
  • Good knowledge of SQL, SQL Reporting, and scripting languages, including PowerShell and VBS.
  • Good knowledge of ITIL and process management.
  • Microsoft certifications are desirable.
