About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Opportunities Specialist to join our team in Queanbeyan. As an Employment Opportunities Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting job seekers to overcome barriers to employment and successfully transition into the workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume caseload of job seekers and provide personalized support to help them achieve their employment goals.
- Actively engage with job seekers to identify and address barriers to employment, and develop strategies to overcome these challenges.
- Provide participants with the tools and confidence to enter the workforce, and support them to secure sustainable employment outcomes.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills and resilience to maximize employment outcomes, and work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Employment Opportunities Specialist who possesses:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with job seekers and other stakeholders.A confident and trustworthy approach, with a strong sense of integrity and professionalism.Ability to think on your feet and adapt to challenging situations and an ever-changing environment.Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business KPIs and targets, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.What We Offer
