Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join our expanding legal team. As an In-House Legal Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations and providing legal expertise to our internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate contracts, particularly for tender submissions and working closely with key operational teams.
- Provide legal support to internal stakeholders, including contract management advice and support during construction/installation phases.
- Prepare, review, and amend correspondence.
- Assist with policy review, insurance, employment, industrial relations, corporate, and compliance matters.
- Support the safety team from a legal perspective, interpreting legislation and providing guidance on investigations and interactions with regulators.
Requirements:
- Admitted to practice with a Bachelor of Laws from an Australian University.
- Law firm or in-house experience, preferably in the commercial, employment, or construction space.
- Proactive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, commitment to service, and a desire to build good relationships within our business.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and autonomously.
