About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Senior Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations hub in Western Australia, working on a regional rail project.

This role will operate on a DIDO basis, and you will be part of our internal business unit, Rail Operations, which specializes in delivering all aspects of Rail projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide support to commissioning activities, track costs, and manage subcontractors.
  2. Interface with design management and construction delivery teams while adhering to Laing O'Rourke's safety policies and procedures.
  3. Direct, perform, and mentor direct report project and site engineers on the project.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and construction contracting experience.

Experience working on SMP/civil construction projects in the mining and resources industry, with a focus on bulk earthworks and concrete, is essential.

A collaborative approach, proven ability to work in a team, and knowledge of legislation, standards, and guidance related to systems engineering for rail or infrastructure projects are also required.
