About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated AESS Team Leader to lead our AESS program in Western Sydney and Southwestern Sydney regions. As this role will require some travel, you must be willing to work across multiple locations.

You will provide day-to-day leadership for the AESS team, overseeing Employment Facilitators who work directly with refugee and asylum seeker clients to create individualised employment pathway plans and support activities. You will also liaise regularly with key stakeholders, employers, government departments, and manage community relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Employment Facilitators to deliver high-quality customer service and achieve outcomes.
  • Motivate and manage staff to meet customer needs and expectations, while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including employers, government departments, and community groups.
  • Develop and maintain strong community relationships to promote our services and attract job seekers.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Employment Services, Career Development, Community Services, or similar qualification desirable or willingness to work towards.
  • Proven ability to motivate, lead, and manage a team to achieve high-quality results.
  • Experience working with job seekers in group and one-on-one settings.
  • Customer-centric approach with the ability to work towards customer service standards, KPIs, and targets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Salary: AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary package, including access to in-house training and learning opportunities for professional development and growth, as well as our in-house wellbeing programs.
