Grain Handler Position

We are seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Grain Handler at the Port of Brisbane QLD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General site clean-up and maintenance
  • Outloading grain bunker for vessel loading
  • Assisting with tarp management
  • Operating telehandlers to clean around bunker face using brooms
  • Tarping and untarping of bunkers
  • Folding, rolling and storage of tarps
  • Tarp welding and sowing
  • Performing other duties as requested by the site supervisor

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous general labouring experience
  • Front loader experience is desirable but not required
  • Able to work under pressure with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in hot, dusty environments
  • Physically fit and able to work long hours with flexible shifts

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
