ROLE OVERVIEW

Due to internal changes, the position of ASIC Corporate Secretary has been established.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with Clients, the ATO, and ASIC
  • Coordinating client appointments and addressing inquiries
  • Drafting client correspondence and communications with the ATO
  • Updating and maintaining client information in software systems
  • Preparing and submitting ASIC documentation
  • Compiling financial statements and tax returns
  • Drafting related correspondence
  • Managing workflow and ensuring compliance deadlines are met
  • Scheduling and conducting client review meetings

Additional administrative tasks may include SMSF administration and other ad hoc responsibilities within the accounting practice.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Australian Public Practice
  • Extensive knowledge of corporate compliance (preferably with 500+ corporate structures)
  • Experience in all aspects of public practice administration
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • A collaborative team-oriented mindset
