Job Title: Plastic Materials Coordinator

Location: Somerton, Melbourne

Job Type: Permanent Full-time

Shift: Day/Afternoon/Night Shifts (Monday to Friday)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Plastic Materials Coordinator to join our Recycling Plastics team at Somerton, Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sorting recycled plastics materials, ensuring the highest quality of materials for the recycling process.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Sorting plastic materials to ensure consistency and quality of sorted materials.
  • Maintaining safe work practices and a high level of housekeeping at all times.
  • Assisting in the cleaning and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
About You

We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual with previous operation experience in a manufacturing or recycling environment. Your knowledge of different types of plastics and recycling processes is an advantage. You must be able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, capable of lifting and handling materials up to 20 kilograms. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.
