We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing emergency services and making a difference in their community.
As an Auxiliary Firefighter, you will be responsible for responding to fire and other emergency incidents, promoting community safety and emergency preparedness through education and outreach activities, and developing and maintaining competencies through regular drills and training courses.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to fire and other emergency incidents
- Promote community safety and emergency preparedness
- Develop and maintain competencies through regular drills and training courses
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Australian Permanent Resident Status
- Manual C Class driver's licence
- Employers written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
- Live or work within a reasonable distance of auxiliary fire station
