We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Childcare Professional to join our team in ACT South. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in guiding the growth and development of children in our care.

At Camp Australia, we believe that every child deserves a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where they can thrive. Our Educators are the heart of our business, and we are committed to providing them with the support and resources they need to deliver exceptional care and education.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Childcare or equivalent, and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of child development and learning principles. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment, and be able to build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community.

As a Casual Educator with Camp Australia, you will have the opportunity to work with children of all ages and abilities, and to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment. We offer a range of benefits, including above award hourly rates, split shift allowances, and access to subsidised Diploma qualifications.

About the Role:

  • Supervise and support a group of primary aged children
  • Engage in a fun, safe, and compliant program
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the school community
  • Nurture a positive environment for learning and enriching play-based educational experiences

About You:

  • You are an enthusiastic and engaging approach to childcare, with the ability to form positive relationships
  • You completed a childcare related Certificate IV or equivalent
  • You hold a valid Working with Vulnerable People Check (or are willing to obtain)
  • You have First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates (or are willing to obtain)
  • You have availability on weekdays and/or school holidays
