As a Group Accountant, you will be responsible for completion of month-end activities including posting month-end journals, consolidation of financial results, and preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations for the parent Company (AMA Group Ltd).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements as part of month-end, half-year, and year-end reporting processes, including preparation of financial statement note disclosures and analysis of financial statement balances
  • Assist with the half-year and year-end audit process, including provision of information and responding to audit queries in a timely manner
  • Coordination of internal invoicing for corporate recharges and other intercompany transactions
  • Assist with cash reporting and cash forecasting
  • Support the bank guarantees process, including requests for new guarantees and cancellations
  • Lodgment of monthly activity statements and payroll tax returns

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and to tight deadlines, with a strong sense of ownership
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to partner across the business
  • Willingness to investigate and resolve issues, including building processes from scratch
  • Finance-related degree and CA/CPA qualification (or part-qualified)
