Clinical Leadership Role in Aged Care

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead a team within a residential aged care home. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent leadership skills.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday with some weekend shifts required as we increase our resident numbers. As a Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining sound clinical governance and effective operations while fostering a relationship-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring high quality clinical care is provided to residents with a proactive focus on safety
  • Overseeing the effective operation of the neighbourhood to reflect resident preferences and principles of relationship-centred care
  • Providing leadership and coaching to all neighbourhood team members, ensuring a focus on relationship-centred care
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Nursing qualification with current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in relationship-based care
  • Strong coaching and training skills with the ability to positively influence other healthcare workers
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality standards
