About the Role

The Chief Financial Strategist will oversee the financial operations of the organisation providing strategic direction and ensuring sound financial management.

You will drive financial strategy manage risk and ensure compliance while fostering a culture of accountability and financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the organisation's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports budgets forecasts and long-term financial planning.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure robust financial controls policies and procedures are in place to manage risk and compliance.
  • Manage and optimise cash flow working capital and financial resources to ensure the organisation's financial stability.
  • Lead financial due diligence for mergers acquisitions and other strategic investments.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across departments to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor and manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors banks and regulators.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team ensuring continuous development and high performance.
  • Implement and maintain financial systems and tools to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.

About You

CA or CPA Qualified Proven track record in a senior finance role FC/HOF/CFO and experience in the hire / rental sector is a must.

Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills with a hands-on approach to solving complex financial challenges.

Expertise in financial planning budgeting forecasting and risk management.

Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
