Assembly and Fabrication Specialist

This is a full-time role involving the support of the manufacturing team through the performance of various tasks, specifically general metal assembly and fabrication. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the team to achieve production goals.

About the Role

The Manufacturing Operator will be responsible for performing a range of activities including metal fabrication tasks such as drilling, grinding, and cutting. Assembly of metal components into kits is also an essential part of this role.

  • Key responsibilities include performing general metal fabrication tasks, assembling metal components, providing support to roll forming, press, and curving operations, and material handling by counterbalance forklift as required.
  • The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, technical skills, knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance principles, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, possess a forklift license, and demonstrate a high level of mechanical aptitude and technical skills.

In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to work well in a team environment, exhibit strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

The ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks is also essential for this role.
