Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the batching plant, including batching pre-mix concrete into agitator trucks for delivery
- Communicate and coordinate with fleet of agitator drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products
- Order raw material stock of cement, sand, aggregates, additive chemicals, etc. to maintain optimal production levels
- Facilitate safety initiatives, including pre-starts, toolboxes, and incident reporting to ensure a safe working environment
- Supervise yard housekeeping, maintenance, and plant operations as required to maintain a clean and efficient working environment
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, dispatching team, and management to ensure seamless operations
- Experience in batching concrete and/or supervising teams in a similar role or industry
- Sound computer skills or experience in production systems/software to effectively manage plant operations
- Strong communication skills and commitment to safety to ensure a safe working environment
- Flexibility and willingness to cover several responsibilities across the plant as required to meet business needs
- FEL ticket and forklift licence will be highly regarded
