Cloud Enablement Leader

The Australian Bureau of Meteorology is seeking a seasoned Cloud platform team lead to oversee the development and management of its cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a high-performing team of cloud professionals to achieve strategic objectives
  • Developing and implementing cloud strategies to balance trade-offs between cloud and on-premises platforms
  • Recruiting, coaching, and enabling staff to drive business outcomes

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing multi-account/tenant environments with chargeback capability, as well as expertise in cloud finance principles and sustainable consumption.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the APS Values, Code of Conduct, and the Bureau's Social Justice Strategy, while fostering a culture of teamwork, diversity, and professional collaboration.

Responsibilities may also include developing effective solutions to complex technical challenges, communicating technical information to stakeholders, and collaborating across teams to deliver projects.
