Web Development Instructor

We are seeking a seasoned Web Development Instructor to join our instructional team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a passion for teaching and mentorship.

As a Lead Instructor, you will play a key role in guiding students through their transformational journey, working closely with co-instructors to create a safe, supportive, and energetic learning environment that welcomes diverse needs and learning styles.

You will have the opportunity to inspire and support students as they identify their passions and drive their own continued learning beyond the curriculum.

Our ideal candidate possesses:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience working on a software development team
  • Familiarity with Computer Science topics, including Recursion, Sorting, Search, Linked Lists, Stacks and queues, Sets, Trees, Search Tries, Graphs, Hash tables, and Design patterns
  • Working experience in both front-end and back-end development, fluent in HTML, CSS, Full-stack JavaScript, and at least one JS MV* framework (Angular, Backbone, or React preferred)

Your responsibilities will include teaching 16 hours per fortnight, preparing engaging lessons and materials, and collaborating with co-instructors or teaching assistants to provide students with meaningful feedback.
