Job Description

The role of Change and Commissioning Coordinator is to provide expert advice and support during the commissioning phase of a major hospital redevelopment project. The focus will be on digital health and ICT components, with a particular emphasis on effective ICT project management.

This position involves working with clinical and non-clinical teams to plan and deliver digital health projects and tasks, ensuring safe transition into new facilities as part of the redevelopment project.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT or project management, or relevant equivalent work experience in digital health, or a combination of study and work experience.

Extensive knowledge of contemporary issues in ICT project management and in the delivery of health services.

Demonstrated skills in managing multiple projects concurrently, with varying timeframes and workloads, in a high-volume work environment.

Selection Criteria
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT or project management, or relevant equivalent work experience in digital health, or a combination of study and work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of contemporary issues in ICT project management and in the delivery of health services.
  • Demonstrated skills in managing multiple projects concurrently, with varying timeframes and workloads, in a high-volume work environment.
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills and ability to build and maintain effective collaborative relationships.
  • Demonstrated high-level analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to provide informed advice and make and facilitate decisions and recommendations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • High-level ICT skills, including use of Microsoft suite of programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint to capture, monitor and report against project deliverables.
