Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Library Technician, where you will provide top-notch customer service at our branch libraries and mobile library service.

This role requires excellent foundational skills in circulation and information services, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing outstanding customer service at our branch libraries and mobile library service.
  • Demonstrating expertise in circulation and information services.
  • Developing strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Contribute to the delivery of library programs and mobile services.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A Library Technician Diploma, Associate Diploma or equivalent qualification recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
  • Prior experience working in a library environment.
  • Strong commitment to providing customer-focused service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant computer skills.
  • A current Class C driver's licence.
  • A Working with Children Check number.
