About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Commercial Growth Specialist who will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. As a key member of our sales team, you will use your relationship building and prospecting skills to build a solid pipeline (approximately 300+ prospects).

You will be working closely with our National Sales Manager to achieve and exceed established monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals. This is a hunting business development role, where you will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business, through identifying and qualifying prospects, and then nurturing them through a full sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Sales-focused role with a strong emphasis on prospecting and closing new business
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research and industry analysis
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to drive sales growth
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of IBISWorld's products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients
  • Deliver live and web-based presentations and training sessions to prospective clients (occasional interstate travel may be required)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in a business development or account management role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong relationship-building and prospecting skills, with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth
  • Basic understanding of selling principles and processes behind consultative selling
  • Ability to speak with prospects across a variety of industries and backgrounds
  • Enthusiastic approach to work and a drive to succeed

About You

As a Commercial Growth Specialist, you will have a passion for sales and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced business environment. You will be able to think critically and strategically, with a strong emphasis on building relationships and driving sales growth. In return, we offer a competitive salary package, including base salary plus generous commissions, bonuses, approved business expenses and super. OTE in excess of $110k, but with uncapped commissions your earning potential should be considerably higher depending on your ability to thrive and succeed.
