Event Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team at SMAART Recruitment in the rapidly growing caravan industry. Our client supports its members by providing beneficial programs and services such as trade shows, workshops, and networking events to enhance their business operations.

About the Role- Assist with event planning, including project plans, run sheets, and coordination of event features.
- Coordinate exhibitor documentation necessary for participation.
- Undertake general clerical tasks, such as ordering stationery, supplies, and uniforms for events.
- Take incoming calls and inquiries related to events and distribute them to appropriate staff.
- Research venues, entertainment options, and quotes for contractors to support event planning.
- A Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event administration or coordination, preferably within a similar industry.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently under pressure.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the caravan industry and be able to work independently and as part of a team. The role offers an ASAP start and a salary of $60,000 + super, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to kickstart their events career.
