Taxation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team at EBR. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing tax compliance services to our clients.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in taxation and accounting, with experience in preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements, personal tax returns, and other related tasks.
You will also be required to manage client relationships, provide excellent customer service, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements and Client Management documents
- Complete draft personal tax returns for selected clients and related entities
- Manage registrations and changes for TFN, ITWV, GST, ABN, PAYG, Fuel Tax, and other relevant matters
- Maintain ASIC and Tax Office Portal accounts
- Completed Accounting degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting/Tax
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, great discipline, and organisation
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in tax practices, demonstrating fast learning, strong work ethic, and past track record of achievements
- Proficiency in MYOB/XERO or other accounting software, including Tax Compliance/ATO attendances
A competitive salary package is available for the right candidate. Based on industry standards, we estimate the salary to be around $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
