Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

Overview:

About the Role

The Senior Network Engineer provides technical guidance and leadership in supporting RMIT's network and telephony infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and high-performance services.

Key Responsibilities

- Resolve complex network issues through expert analysis and problem-solving skills

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic networks initiatives

- Advise on effective use of network technologies to drive business outcomes

Requirements

- Strong technical expertise in enterprise-scale infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless, cloud and security, with a focus on Cisco, Aruba or Arista products

- Advanced knowledge of routing, switching and automation tools, with experience in network design and implementation

About You

You are a collaborative, adaptable and confident professional with experience working in large and complex environments, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Arrangements

This role requires some after-hours work and an On-Call roster, rotated monthly amongst the team, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

Appointment Requirements

Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders.
