This role will be responsible for installations, maintenance, operation, and servicing of installations at our customer's premises and tanker fleet components with a goal to complete all work on time and of the highest quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out works on equipment or processes as required in a timely and efficient manner
  • Finding fault, diagnosis, and formulation and delivery of corrective actions
  • Maintenance of company assets
  • Attending service calls and being available for on-call work as required
  • Executing work orders efficiently following a maintenance scheduler plan
  • Attending weekly toolbox meetings
  • Escalating required problems to the Regional Engineering Maintenance Manager
  • Performing installation and servicing of Air Liquide customer-owned equipment or processes as specified in supply contracts
  • Accountable for the provision of after-hours service to our customers in the case of an emergency
  • Other duties as required

Requirements include:

  • Trade qualification essential
  • Technical expertise on Fitter, Gas Fitter, Refrigeration, Mechanical, Electrician/Electrical Fitter
  • Experience in gas reticulation systems/Pressure Vessels/Customer site servicing will be an added advantage
  • Solution-focused decision making
  • Care about customers and patients
