About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Export Sea Operator or Supervisor to join our team of 4 in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our export sea operations team, you will be responsible for all aspects of sea freight operations, including third-party billings, invoicing, reporting, and EOM processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day operations for sea freight operations
  • Third-party billings, invoicing, reporting, and EOM processing
  • Oversee and support a small team of import/export operators (if supervising)
  • Provide ongoing training and SOP implementation
  • Handling escalated operational issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, overseas offices/agents, customers, suppliers, and internal staff
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have solid export sea operations experience in the Australian freight forwarding market as an essential requirement for this role. Cargowise experience is highly desired, but not essential. The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
