Early Childhood Educator Role

As an Early Childhood Educator at a progressive organization, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children aged from birth to 6 years. You will collaborate with families, community and other professionals to develop curriculum that is responsive to each child's unique requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or similar qualification, as well as Level 2 First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificate, and knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010), and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.

You will be aware of the cultural needs of families and able to manage time effectively. You will also have the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of child progress and program evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement inclusive educational programs that meet the diverse needs of children aged 0-6 years.
  • Work collaboratively with families, community and other professionals to ensure the care and education program aligns with relevant frameworks.
  • Conduct regular observations and assessments to inform teaching practices and support child development.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of child progress and program evaluation.
  • Participate in ongoing professional learning and development to enhance skills and knowledge in inclusive early childhood education.
