Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan routes to optimize delivery times and inspect packages for damage or irregularities.
  • Record and report any issues with packaging or damaged items.
  • Operate loading equipment to load and unload vehicles safely.
  • Maintain secure transportation of freight during transit.
  • Meet punctual completion deadlines for deliveries.
  • Obtain recipient signatures upon delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout interactions.
  • Ensure proper handling and security measures are in place for all packages.
  • Address delivery challenges such as damaged items or inaccessible locations.
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar role.
  • A valid driver's license for a two-axle rigid vehicle.
  • A good driving record.
  • Proficiency in operating various loading equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Physical stamina to handle lifting and standing.
