Occupational Therapy Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a clinical caseload through comprehensive assessment, intervention and discharge planning.
  • Coordinating the Occupational Therapy rehab team, including supervision of Occupational Therapists and OT Assistants.
  • Advising and consulting with other multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Initiating and coordinating quality improvement projects to enhance occupational therapy services and achieve better patient outcomes.
  • Working with the OT Manager to identify education needs and implement effective training sessions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent, with AHPRA registration.
  • Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingsness to contribute to the development and promotion of a cohesive and interactive team.
