Right at Home Gold Coast is currently seeking skilled and compassionate support workers to join our dedicated 24/7 rotating roster.
About the Role:- Support clients with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, and household tasks on a full-time basis.
- Provide community access and encourage social participation in daily life.
- Manage medication schedules and accompany clients to scheduled appointments.
- Promote client independence, dignity, and self-determination in all aspects of care.
- Monitor, document, and report on client health and wellbeing to ensure timely interventions.
- Implement detailed care plans and maintain accurate records for ongoing support.
- A Certificate III in Disability or related field is essential for this role.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is required.
- Proven experience supporting high-need clients with complex care requirements.
- Understanding of person-centred care principles and NDIS frameworks is crucial.
- Experience in manual handling, medication management, and daily personal care is necessary.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive team-oriented mindset are vital.
- An open driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance are also required.
- National Police Check clearance and completion of the NDIS Online Worker Orientation Module are mandatory.
