About the Position

The successful candidate will work across a rotating roster, delivering evidence-based midwifery care to patients. You will be supported by a multidisciplinary team, including Nurse Unit Managers, Clinical Nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality antenatal, postnatal, and birth suite care to patients
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Essential Requirements

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
  • Recent experience working in a birthing unit
  • Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to Midwifery practice
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
