The role of Disability Employment Consultant plays a pivotal part in empowering individuals with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities to secure sustainable employment. This vital position involves collaborating with colleagues to provide support and resources that cater to the unique needs of job seekers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and sourcing suitable employment opportunities for job seekers
- Assisting job seekers in identifying their skills and abilities to enhance their employability
- Providing exceptional customer service to both job seekers and employers
- Increasing job seekers' capacity for employment through targeted training and support services
- Crafting and implementing tailored job plans with job seekers to ensure a clear pathway to employment
- Nurturing relationships with local employers and community organizations
To excel in this role, you will require:
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A valid driver's license and comprehensive vehicle insurance
- Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check
- Ability to pass a Working with Children Check
- Availability to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
