About the role

This Dental Assistant position requires a highly skilled individual who can provide high-quality support to dental care delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing treatment rooms, reprocessing instruments, and providing adequate evacuation of oral fluids and retraction of soft tissues.

The role involves supporting patients through procedures, preparing and passing materials and instruments, and performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Act.

This position also includes activities involving Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), contributing to policy implementation, audits, and reporting of clinical incidents.

As a key member of the ATSICHS Brisbane team, you will support fellow staff in a team environment to build collegiality and a sense of belonging within the team and ATSICHS family.

Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and hygienists in providing high-quality patient care.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for procedures.
  • Reprocess instruments and maintain quality control.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
