About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist to provide technical support to the Angiography Suite and CVIL Suite, assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Program and operate physiological monitoring equipment, interpret cardiovascular measurements, and operate computerised electrophysiology equipment.
  • Patient Care: Assist in patient preparation, defibrillate, and participate in resuscitation efforts.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate and maintain electrophysiology equipment, as well as evaluate and recommend new techniques with senior caregivers and clinicians.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of procedural data and educate caregivers on related studies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Significant experience in Angiography Suite settings as a Cardiac Technician, including ECG recording and interpretation, haemodynamic monitoring, and electrophysiology studies.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Cardiopulmonary Technology or similar; sound knowledge of computer information technology and Work Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Previous EP case experience is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
