We are seeking a skilled Geriatric Physiotherapist to join our team in providing community-based aged care services in Brisbane.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physiotherapy and excellent communication skills. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and osteopaths, to provide evidence-based treatment to clients in their homes.

This is a full-time position with a competitive remuneration package. Graduates will also be considered for this role.

About the Role:
  • Providing person-centred intervention to clients in their homes
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop targeted goals and treatment plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assess and treat clients with various geriatric conditions
  • To develop and implement individualised treatment plans
  • To educate clients and their families on self-management techniques
  • To maintain accurate records and reports
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Full AHPRA registration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current drivers licence and vehicle
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
  • Eligible to work in Australia
