Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to move pallets of merchandise from delivery trailers to the receiving dock, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Complete daily forklift safety checks and follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Stack and unstack merchandise onto Costco-approved pallets, ensuring proper storage and organization.
  • Load and unload merchandise from trucks and pallets, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Assist in other departments as needed, providing support and assistance to team members.
  • Provide excellent customer service to members, employees, and suppliers, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and a current Forklift ticket.
  • At least 6 months of forklift driving experience and merchandising experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AS 400 knowledge and computer skills.
  • Experience with receiving and inventory management procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
