Job Description

The Energy Markets Cyber Coordination (EMCC) team oversees the management of cyber security functions under the electricity rules to enhance grid and market security. As a Project Coordinator, you will support the EMCC Ways of Working (EWoW), coordinate stakeholder meetings, promote operational efficiency, and maintain tools like Jira and Confluence.

You will also assist with procurement processes and cyber exercises, applying your cyber security and project management knowledge to facilitate collaboration within the cyber department and digital domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and update workload requests, schedules, milestones, and tasks across EMCC streams.
  • Manage Jira boards and Confluence spaces, ensuring timely updates and documentation.
  • Organize and support meetings, forums, and workshops, including logistics and post-meeting follow-up.
  • Maintain document version control, risk and issue registers, in line with governance requirements.
  • Review project proposals, monitor workload pipelines, and report on ongoing delivery status.
  • Document and track risks affecting project scope, quality, time, and budget.
  • Manage procurement workflows, raise purchase orders, and process invoices using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Record problems, manage resolutions, and disseminate lessons learned.

Requirements:

  • Experience in project coordination, administration, or PMO support, preferably within cybersecurity, energy, or regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of procurement, project management, financial management, scheduling, and resource planning.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail across multiple workstreams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar enterprise systems.
  • Experience supporting teams using SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication skills for documentation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with the energy sector, critical infrastructure, or government cybersecurity programs.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of security frameworks relevant to the energy sector, willingness to travel interstate, and flexible working hours.

Must be an Australian citizen eligible for a national security clearance.
