Job Summary

Maintenance fitters play a vital role in ensuring production machinery operates efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery promptly.
  • Implement proactive measures to reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop effective maintenance programs.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality assurance practices during repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Identify and escalate Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards, and risks.
Requirements:
  • Australian mechanical trade qualification is essential.
  • Experience in installations, repairs, and maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Proven fault-finding skills on hydraulic, pneumatic, and complex mechanical systems are required.
  • Strong welding and fabrication skills are necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enable the development of relationships, communication, and collaboration with key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
