**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Leader to oversee a high-impact team working at the intersection of data science, platform infrastructure, and frontend optimization.

The successful candidate will manage a team of engineers responsible for systems that capture, enrich, expose and connect user behavior and system telemetry. They will collaborate with product, data, and infra teams to ensure these signals are accurate, scalable, and easy to use—helping every team understand the full picture of product experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers building the data infrastructure, backend services and clients to capture and connect behavioral analytics and system telemetry.
  • Drive the design and evolution of scalable event ingestion and processing systems.
  • Partner with teams across product, infra, and data to ensure systems are impactful and reliable.
  • Embed privacy-by-design principles into our tracking architecture.
  • Foster a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, and inclusive leadership.
Requirements:
  • Experience leading engineering teams focused on data platforms and backend infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, event processing, or analytics pipelines.
  • Comfortable coaching engineers across both frontend and backend, and guiding architecture decisions.
  • Care about data ethics and apply privacy-by-design principles in work.
  • Passionate about empowering others to make data-informed decisions through reliable and accurate data.
