Customer Service Representative Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and driven customer service representative to join our team. This role is based in North Ryde, with the option to work from home two days per week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has call centre experience, particularly in the finance or insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers and be looking for a dynamic work environment where they can grow and develop their skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Making outbound calls to existing clients to process membership renewals and recover missed membership payments;
  • Handling client disputes and complaints in accordance with our values and terms and conditions of membership;
  • Processing membership updates as required, such as updating banking details, payment schedules and cancellations;
  • Recording all communication and actions performed accurately and thoroughly;
  • Performing daily administration tasks and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) outlined by the team leader;

Key responsibilities include:

  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when processing client bank details and sensitive information;
  • Proven work experience within the finance or insurance industry, which will be highly regarded;
  • A positive attitude and exceptional work ethic;
  • A love of animals;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • An excellent customer-centric focus;
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work autonomously and within a team;
  • The ability to problem solve;
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Experience in a contact centre environment, or with practice management software, would be highly regarded;
