Electrical Design Engineer

Fuse Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a reputable Australian manufacturing company in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and dedicated Electrical Engineer to work with a highly reputable company and contribute to the design of LV/MV/HV Electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design of LV/MV/HV Electrical systems, including Main Switchboards, Motor Control Centres, Sivacon S8, Distribution Boards, PLC panels, control panels and outdoor enclosures.
- AutoCAD drafting of general arrangements, single line diagrams and schematic diagrams of switchboards, kiosks and switchrooms.
- Collaboration with a team of 10 design engineers on major projects in Australia.
- Participation in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) / Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and commissioning.
- Project management.
- Tertiary Engineering qualification.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient use of AutoCAD, Solidworks and Microsoft Office packages.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to work as directed.
- 4-5+ years' experience in electrical design.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, PowerCAD, Solidworks.
- Project management experience.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and SIRs.
- Possess excellent knowledge and experience with commonly used supplier equipment such as Siemens, ABB, Schneider and NHP.
