Job Title: NDIS Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team of support workers in Newcastle NSW. As a support worker, you will work as a companion to our NDIS participants, assisting with daily personal activities and community participation for mental health clients.

Your role will involve promoting dignity, respect, and choice, and supporting our NDIS participants to live their best life. You will ensure that the client is at the centre of everything you do.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily personal activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and support to NDIS participants
  • Encourage independence and community participation
Requirements:
  • First Aid certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • Car and insurance
  • Vaccination certificate
  • Optional: Cert III in disability / aged care
