About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Open Cut Examiner (OCE) to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring safety leadership and adherence to compliance across all operational facets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement to enhance mining and plant productivity.
- Oversee production metrics and coal quality objectives while assisting in production scheduling.
- Perform statutory evaluations of open cut operations.
- Manage and guide mining teams, providing essential pre-shift briefings and shift organization.
- Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of mining regulations, safety protocols, and environmental practices, along with expertise in open cut mining methods. Essential qualifications include:
- OCE Certification (Mandatory)
- Supervisory experience and multi-skilled operational background in the mining sector.
