About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Corporate Actions team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely execution of corporate action events across global markets.

Main Responsibilities
  • CORPORATE ACTION EXECUTION & OVERSIGHT: Process and oversee mandatory and voluntary corporate action events in line with market deadlines and internal controls.
  • RISK MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONAL CONTROL: Proactively identify and escalate discrepancies or risks in event processing, ensuring compliance with audit, regulatory, and governance standards.
  • STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT & GLOBAL COLLABORATION: Partner with custodians, portfolio managers, and internal teams to resolve queries and ensure seamless execution, as well as collaborate with global peers to align on best practices and support cross-regional initiatives.
  • TEAM ENABLEMENT: Step in as a delegate or escalation point in the manager's absence, fostering a positive team environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • ANALYTICAL INSIGHT & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Analyze events to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization, leading and contributing to automation and efficiency initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years' experience in corporate actions, with a strong understanding of global financial markets and corporate action lifecycle.
  • Advanced analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Python, and familiarity with platforms such as IMActions, Markit, or Aladdin.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills, demonstrated initiative, accountability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
