Job Opportunity: Physiologist Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiologist Specialist to join our dynamic community-based team in Wollongong, NSW. This role offers the opportunity to work to the top of your clinical scope, providing high-quality care across various work settings and caseloads.

The Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Delivering evidence-based clinical care in the community through various programs and funding streams, focusing on delivering optimal patient outcomes.
  • Implementing an active exercise-based approach to clients post-acute orthopaedic surgery or managing chronic conditions, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients, leveraging expertise and experience to deliver exceptional care.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision with a designated supervisor to ensure continuous growth and improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in community or hospital physio settings (preferable)
  • Exercise Physiology degree with ESSA Certification, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and skills in the field
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle, facilitating easy travel between locations
